Methods and techniques used in the marine sciences, including introduction to navigation, plotting and evaluation of data pertaining to salinity, temperature, dissolved oxygen, primary productivity and current velocity. 2 hrs. lab. Mandatory coreq: ESSC 104. ESSC 104/105 together constitute a single laboratory course in earth sciences for purposes of the general education curriculum. Does not count toward Meteorology major.
