Level 1 Post- Baccalaureate Teacher Certification Program- Pre-K- 12 Preparation
The department of special education offers a flexible hybrid or online program leading to Pennsylvania Level Certification, granted by the Pennsylvania Department of Education: Certification in PK-12. This program is designed for candidates who (a) have completed a B.A or B.S. degree in an area other than education, or (b) hold a teaching certificate in another content area or grade range.

If you are given the 2.8 GPA Exception for graduation and you graduate with a GPA lower than 3.0, you must have higher certification test scores in order to meet PA state certification requirements.
