Multidisciplinary Studies, B.A., Science Writing Option
This Science Writing concentration will challenge students to accurately translate the often arcane and complex news of scientific developments into lay language. In addition, students must also attempt to put scientific discoveries and controversies into historical, personal, political, economic, and social context. The multi-disciplinary skills will be grounded in a foundational knowledge in communicating information effectively and appropriately to diverse audiences. The concentration is also founded on an understanding of science needed to investigate and understand the technical content.
