Integrative STEM Education Methods Minor
The Integrative STEM Education Methods (ISEM) minor is specifically designed for students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Education (BSE), especially those that include elementary level certification such as ERCH, SPED, and MDLV. The overall goal of this minor is to prepare future PreK-6 teachers to develop the knowledge, skills, and habits of mind that would best prepare them to use integrative teaching-learning approaches to enhance their students’ learning of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), as well as other areas of the curriculum (e.g., social studies, art, music, physical education, social-emotional learning).
