The journalism minor at Millersville introduces students to the craft of creating content for news media. The program focuses on strengthening students’ writing and presentation skills, teaching journalism through the lens of social responsibility, and installing the importance of the ethics of verification and professionalism. The curriculum is designed to open up potential career options in the field of journalism and news media while completing a different degree program. The journalism minor pairs especially well with degree programs in media arts production, sociology and government and political affairs.
