The Behavioral and Human Services (BA) is designed for students who desire to improve the quality of life for others in applied settings, such as nonprofits, community programs, behavioral health and healthcare systems, educational support services, counseling and social services, and other client-focused agencies and government settings. The degree prepares graduates for a breadth of human services occupations. The program provides an interdisciplinary curriculum with a strong behavioral foundation grounded in psychological principles and theory. The degree requires 40 credit hours of interdisciplinary coursework including a capstone field experience and 9 credit hours (total) in required related courses in anthropology, communications and sociology.
